The EU-Detector Cable is a special cable which outputs a redstone current when EU is flowing through it.
It can be used in conjunction with storage block to detect overflow. In pre 1.6 versions, it is able to handle EU Packets up to 512 with energy loss of 0.5 EU per block. In post 1.6 versions, it can handle up to 8192 EU/t.

GT5 removes the recipe.
Usage[edit]
EU-Detector Cable has no known uses in crafting.
Notes[edit]
- If a Detector Cable is covered with Construction Foam, it will not output a redstone signal through the foam.
- If Red Alloy Wire from the RedPower 2 mod is used, a logic gate must be used to collect the output.
