Construction Foam is a lightweight material that, when placed, forms in white chunks that eventually harden to a solid gray material.

Wet foam blocks act like both non-solid and solid blocks; the player and other entities will fall through them, but normal solid block ejection and suffocation mechanics still apply. The wet blocks can be hardened instantly by using a Sand block on them (via right-click), and broken instantly without needing a tool.

Dry construction foam can be painted on using IC2 Painters. It needs a stone pickaxe or better tool to break, and is almost completely resistant to normal (TNT) explosions.

Construction Foam can be placed using a CF Sprayer. This tool also adds the ability to place foam over IC2 Cables and Scaffolds. In addition, a single 'spray' places up to 13 CF blocks while only using 1/2 of a CF Pellet, effectively providing up to 26x the efficiency of placing CF blocks manually.

Uses[edit]

Construction Foam can be compressed into CF Pellets, which are the "fuel" for the CF Backpack and CF Sprayer:

As of 1.6, the recipe has changed. You now craft CF Powder and combine it with water in a Canning Machine with the CF Sprayer or CF Pack inside. You do not need to have a CF Sprayer or CF Pack inside the canning machine as it will store construction foam internally. If you put a CF Sprayer or CF Pack inside while construction foam is stored, and then process a CF Powder (if you have enough room), as much construction foam as possible will be put from the internal storage into the CF Sprayer or CF Pack. Unless you have another way of getting the construction foam out of the canning machine it is suggested that you leave room for at least one CF Powder's worth of construction foam. Somebody, make a better entry than I did, this is kind of run on.
