The Wooden Door is an item from vanilla Minecraft. It can be placed in the world to create a wooden door that is 2 blocks in height. Right-clicking the door will open it. The door can also be opened by applying a redstone signal to it, when the signal is terminated, the door will close again. Since MC 1.8, there are six variants of Wooden Door, for each variant of wood one.
Recipe[edit]
Note: Previous to MC 1.8, this recipe will only give one Wooden Door. Since MC 1.8 Oak Wood Planks can be substituted with any variant of Wood Planks to gain the appropriate door.

Trivia[edit]
- Often players will place a Pressure Plate on both sides of a door. The plate will emit a redstone signal when the player walks over it, this opens the door long enough for a player to pass through before closing again. This is also convenient as the door will always close automatically, preventing aggressive mobs from following a player trough the door.
