The Cauldron is a Minecraft block which can hold liquids and can be used to undye Leather Armor or Shulker Boxes. It is used in the crafting recipes of several mods, usually when the resulting item is a sort of liquid container.
Since Minecraft 1.14 it will sometimes spawn in Villages. Nearby unemployed Villagers will turn into a Leatherworker.
