The Insertion Transport Pipe is an item transporting pipe added by Thermal Expansion, which allows for the build of simple overflow valves or filtering systems.

Behaviour[edit]

The Insertion Transport Pipe will try to insert into connected inventories first; only sending items further down the pipe if all connected inventories are full. Furthermore will it split packets of travelling items correctly.

It won't send items back the way they came from, spilling them to the ground if no other than the incoming pipe is attached.

When multiple inventories are connected it will fill one inventory up before continuing with the next, according to the preference: down, up, north, south, west, east.

It has the same connectivity as Stone Transport Pipe.

Issues[edit]

  • Items that are inserted into inventories will visually vanish immediately after entering the pipe. This is just a graphical bug though. (experienced in FTB Unleashed v117)
