Required Tool |
The Aqueous Accumulator is a machine added by the Thermal Expansion mod.
It is used to generate Water from 2 water source blocks without requiring any energy, but can't be used in standalone: it needs to be connected with pipes or tanks. It also fills up when rain is falling onto it. An Aqueous Accumulator has enough production capacity, and is commonly used, to cool up to four (4) Combustion Engines or a Steam Boiler to keep them from exploding, as often occurs with other cooling methods. When placed adjacent to 2 Water source [1] the Accumulator will generate water at a rate of 25 mB per tick [2]. If enabled the Aqueous Accumulator is capable of "passive" water generation [2], condensing water from the surrounding air, at the rate of 1 mB/t, which is considerably slower. Also augments like Augment: Secondary Reception Coil speeds up generating water by reasonable rate.
The Aqueous Accumulator has an internal buffer capacity of 4,000 mB. It is upgradable to 3 higher tier, each increasing the internal storage capacity: Hardened, 8,000 mB; Reinforced, 16'000 mB; and Resonant, 32,000 mB. The Accumulator may be Augmented and will eject water to a Fluiduct by default.

Aqueous Accumulator has no known uses in crafting.
Note[edit]
- ↑ The Water is not consumed by the Aqueous Accumulator.
- ↑ 2.0 2.1 The water production rate and the passive mode (false by default) may be changed in the mod's config file.
- ↑ Machine Frame (Basic) can be substituted with the following items: Machine Frame (Hardened), Machine Frame (Reinforced), Machine Frame (Resonant).
Glass can be substituted with Stained Glass.
