The Transfer Node (Liquids) is a block added by the Extra Utilities mod. It works in conjunction with Transfer Pipes to extract liquids from the attached tank (or other liquid containers) and send it to the nearest available tank first, and randomly when the pipes split up to two or more tanks. This behaviour is controlled with various types of pipes and upgrades. Interfaced with an internal buffer that holds up to 8,000 mB and six upgrade slots (four in 1.6.4), the liquid is extracted at the rate of 700 mb/ sec and may be accelerated with Speed Upgrades. The node may be deactivated with a Redstone signal. The Transfer Node acts as a pipe so liquids can travel through it to other pipes, but not into the internal buffer or the tank it is attached to. The Transfer Node doesn't show visual indication of being active in order to help reduce server lag; however a Glowstone may be added to display the liquid's path on the pipes.

Note[edit]

  • Transfer Node (Liquids) can also be used to draw water from an infinite water source like an Aqueous Accumulator by placing it on a block and replacing the block with a water source. A World Interaction Upgrade must be used to permit extraction of the water or other liquids. Blood Magic has a ritual that works quite well by placing the ritual in the middle of a 3x3 square of water source.
    • Transfer Node (Liquids) cannot be used to transfer lava.
