The Brew of Ink is an item added by the Witchery mod. It is a throwable potion that bursts into an explosion of ink, blinding players and other mobs in an area of effect range.
Depending on where in relation to the center of the hit of the potion determines the duration of the blindness effect. Creatures with no eyes such as slimes and powerful demonic entities will not be affected by this.

Wearing a Witches Hat and/or Robes while brewing can yield more brews than three.
