Required Tool |
The Wind Turbine is a block added by the Magneticraft mod. It uses wind to generate electricity and power depends on the turbine used. The Small/Medium/Large Turbine needs to be placed in the square in the GUI in order to work. The Wind Turbine will output Low Voltage to directly adjacent machines, Battery blocks or Low Voltage Cable or Copper Wire connected to any side.
It is possible to connect power to the front of the Wind turbine, but any obstruction, including power cable, will prevent the Turbine from deploying to generate power.
The space in front of the Wind Turbine (the side with the circle) needs to be free of obstructions to deploy a turbine and once a turbine is inserted and deployed, it will take up block space and prevent block placement and player movement through this space.
- The Small Wind Turbine needs clearance in a 2 block radius, a 5x5 verticle square centered 1 block in front of the Wind Turbine.
- The Medium Wind Turbine needs clearance in a 4 block radius, a 9x9 verticle square centered 1 block in front of the Wind Turbine.
- The Large Wind Turbine needs clearance in a 6 block radius, a 13x13 verticle square centered 1 block in front of the Wind Turbine.
