The RF Alternator is a block added by the Magneticraft mod. It generates Low Voltage electricity using Redstone Flux (RF). It does not need a redstone signal and will convert incoming RF to Low Voltage as long as there is incoming RF and a need for Low Voltage. The RF Alternator accepts RF from most mods and holds 32,000RF.
The RF Alternator has a Low Voltage side, that looks like the end of Low Voltage Cable and an RF side that has a red X. Currently, the RF Alternator will have the Low Voltage side facing the player when placed and can not be rotated with a Wrench, so it must be harvested with a pick and re-placed to re-position it. It can not be positioned facing up or down.
