Filtered Essentia Tube is a block added by the Thaumcraft 4 mod. Functioning similarly to a Essentia Tube, this pipe allows a single type of essentia to pass through it. Using a Jar Label on the filter will set the filter type, coloring it to match the essentia type. Shift-clicking one with an empty hand or breaking the tube will remove the label.

"Filtered essentia tubes work like normal tubes, except it is possible to mark them with labels. When marked they will restrict essentia flow through them to what they have been marked with.

Shift-clicking on them with an empty hand will remove the label.

Restricted essentia tubes work like normal tubes, except they halve the any suction passing through them.

Directional essentia tubes only accept suction from one direction. The blue markings indicate the direction from which suction will be accepted."
