Scaffolding is a block added by the OpenBlocks mod. It is an inexpensive block which can be used in construction. Unlike Scaffolds added by several other mods, it is not possible to instantly break multiple Scaffolding blocks or climb them like a ladder. They are however easy to break without a tool and they are transparent, allowing players to see the blocks placed behind them. As an alternative to breaking them instantly, Scaffolding blocks will randomly despawn and drop as items, the rate of which can be configured.
