An Item Card is a way to sort items in the DartCraft Mod. Using it with a Force Pack allows for only specific items to enter the pack, instead of sitting the inventory.
Recipe[edit]
Usage[edit]
Once the player has right clicked with the item in hand, the interface pops up. This interface includes 16 'phantom' slots, allowing the player to assign whatever item they wish to that slot; right clicking on these will select and attune that item to that particular item card. This allows for it to be used in Force Packs.
The item cards have two modes shown on the GUI indicated by the color and location of an arrow. The yellow arrow at the top of the GUI means that the pack is in sucker mode, meaning that all items will be collected (or sucked) into the bag, including items picked up from the world, ignoring the player's inventory altogether. A blue, downward facing arrow means that the pack is in restock mode; if a particular item breaks it is then automatically replaced in the player's inventory with a new item from the bag.
Another usage for this is to upgrade it in the Force Infuser with a crafting table, creating a "Crafting Card." This allows for automatic crafting of a recipe that is attuned to the card, provided that the appropriate materials are in said bag. Upgrading an Item Card with the Force Upgrade will allow for any item specified by the Item Card to be automatically Force Transmuted if a valid transmutation is found. The resultant of a valid Force Transmutation will be shown on the right-hand side in the gui of the Item Card. Upgrading an Item Card with the Heat upgrade will allow them to incinerate items to destroy them. Be careful! Lastly, if you infuse an Item Card with a furnace, it will gain the Forge upgrade, which allows the item card to freely transmute between items labeled as equivalent in the Forge Ore Dictionary.
Item cards can also be used to instantly transfer items from Force Packs into chests. When the item in the item card is set to sucker mode, right click on the chest and all of the matching items in the Force Pack will be put into the chest.
If BuildCraft is installed Item Cards can be placed inside DartCraft's Force Transport Pipes to accomplish their various tasks in an automated fashion.
