The Acclimatiser is a machine added by the Genetics mod. It is used to adjust the temperature and humidity tolerance of a Bee up to the maximum of +5 or change the type of flower a bee seeks. The Acclimatiser has an internal buffer of 5,000 MJ, can accept a maximum of 50MJ per tick and consumes 500 MJ per operation at a rate of 2.5 MJ per tick (about 10 seconds). When not supplied with energy, the Acclimatiser will slowly leak energy over time at a rate of approximately 1 MJ every 5 seconds.

Known Bugs in Extra Bees[edit]

The Acclimatiser is unpredictable, often consuming stacks of items without producing results. If you find yourself in this situation, try breaking the machine and re-placing it before making another attempt. If a bee is in the Acclimiser when broken the bee will disappear.

If a bee starts with temperature / humidity tolerance "Both X", you only need to acclimatise in one direction. For example, a Rocky bee (which starts at temperature tolerance "Both 1") can be acclimatised to temperature tolerance "Both 5" using only ice blocks.
