Description of use[edit]

The first crate placed will designate a Storage Bunch. By sneaking and facing the surface of the Bunch, a Storage Crate can be added to that side increasing the Storage Bunch's Capacity. The amount of storage space in a clump is 18 Spaces for every Storage Crate that is part of the same Storage Bunch.

A Storage Crate Bunch may be expanded in any horizontal direction as long as this is done on the same horizontal level with the base of the Storage Bunch. In addition, the Crate monitors it's shape according to the rectangular space the Bunch occupies. A Storage Crate Bunch can only expand when it's existing rectangle is at least three quarters full. If the Crate Bunch was in a 2 x 3 x 4 Formation (This would, at most, take up 24 Blocks), at least 18 of those spaces have to be filled with Storage Crates before the Storage Crate Bunch may be expanded further. Storage Crate Bunches may not be expanded downwards.

When starting out, one Storage Crate will only display the contents equal to that space. However, after more than three crates are added to one bunch, you will only see the number of items equal to three crates, or a large chest. While it is possible to simply continuously expand a single bunch, the sheer physical size of the Storage Crate Bunch, the limited number of items you can access, and the fact those items are received randomly every time the Storage Crate Bunch is opened, it may be easier to rely on smaller groups of Storage Crates as the space of the Crates are all the same, no matter how they are bunched up.

Removing blocks will not affect the Storage Clump at a whole or its storage as long as the number of items is less than the capacity of the Storage Clump. Random Items will eject when the capacity decreases. Blocks stacked vertically will drop if the Storage Crate or Crates underneath are removed. It is possible to divide a Storage Bunch into two separate Bunches but they will still retain the same storage and expansion is restricted as they are still seen as part of the same Storage Clump.

Usage[edit]

Storage Crate has no known uses in crafting.
