The Euclidaisy is a flower added by the Forbidden Magic mod when Botania and Thaumcraft 4 are also included in the pack. The Euclidaisy is a functional flower which must be bound to a nearby Mana Pool. It will then consume 9,000 mana and generate Ethereal Essences of random aspect.
The Euclidaisy cannot be crafted without first performing the associated Research on a Table. An entry describing the flower also appears in the Lexica Botania, though it will not provide a crafting recipe - this must be unlocked via Forbidden Magic's "Apocrypha" tab in the Thaumonomicon.
Recipe[edit]
Usage[edit]
Like most functional flowers from Botania, a Euclidaisy must be planted on Dirt, Grass, Podzol or Mycelium and bound to a nearby Mana Pool. It requires large quantities of mana to function, and will generate Ethereal Essences of random aspect repeatedly, one at a time, so long as it continues to receive sufficient mana. The essences are dropped into the world as items in the vicinity of the Euclidaisy, so some means of automatically gathering dropped items - such as Botania's Hopperhock or a Thaumcraft Gather Golem - is recommended.
Not only is this a good source of the Auram Aspect, which is otherwise hard to obtain, an Ethereal Essence can potentially be obtained for every aspect in the game making it possible to automate Essentia production.
