Apiary is a block added by the Pam's HarvestCraft mod. It is used to generate bee products from a Queen Bee. Its GUI has 18 output slots in which products are placed and 1 input slot in which the Queen Bee has to be placed. Every time a product is generated, the Queen Bee loses 1 durability. When it reaches 0 durability, it can be turned into Royal Jelly which in turn can be combined with a Bee Grub to produce a new Queen Bee. Queen Bees are initially obtained by breaking Beehives.
By default, the Apiary will generate a product every 3500 ticks. The Apiary detects flower blocks and other Apiaries in a 2 block radius (on its own coordinate in the y-plane). For every Flower the amount of ticks required is multiplied by 0.95, this means that the fastest processing time possible is for each output product. When another apiary is detected inside of the radius, the processing time is divided by 0.85, which increases it by an approximate factor of 1.176.
